In the TK class where I work, we had a student we lovingly called our Sunshine Girl. At age 4, this student was a font of positivity, friendliness, kindness, empathy, and love. They had the best smile and the best curly hair, they loved greeting everyone who came to the door: student, teacher, parent, it didn't matter. They also suffered through many health issues that can't be cured or outgrown. They often missed days for doctors appointments and surgeries. We noticed every single one. I don't know what kind of life they will get to have after my class, but I hope and pray it is full of love and sunshine.

I loved this student, and Mr Sun is for them. Not only did he serve as a bit of an accessibility aid, but now he can help give back to students like our Sunshine. A portion of profits collected by Mr Sun sales will go to Alex's Lemonade Stand, a foundation that funds research to prevent childhood cancer.
