Still Lucky was one of the first designs that wasn't inspired by a 4 year old. But, like Chronic Blue, it's one I think of often. Try as we might, the days don't always go as planned. Sometimes I'm astounded to find that despite my best intentions and efforts, everything seems to be literally falling apart. Appointments fall through, work goes late, promises get broken, plans change, your favorite food has gone missing from the fridge, and then, before you have to wake up and do it all again, you hear a cat vomit somewhere at 2am.

 

When luck turns bad, it's easy to be disheartened. When it seems to turn bad all the time, it's exhausting. But, Still Lucky reminds me: a clover doesn't need to be perfect to be lucky. He's my favorite good luck charm, because goodness knows I'm not perfect.
